Doric Painting Ltd started in 1979 with one van, one ladder, and a simple belief: a painted room should be perfect from the corner you notice to the corner you never will. For decades that meant prepping like it matters, cutting lines freehand, and treating every home like family lives there — because they do.
With its founder now enjoying a well-earned retirement, Doric Painting has closed its doors. Haven Painting is a brand-new company opening ours — founded to honour everything that name stood for: uncompromising prep, honest quotes, and finishes that last. A new business, built to carry a trusted legacy forward for decades to come. New name. Same respect for the craft.

Interior painting done properly
A lasting interior paint job is 70% preparation. Before a single coat goes on, our painters patch nail holes and cracks, sand every repair flush, spot-prime stains, and caulk gaps in trim. Floors are covered wall to wall, furniture is wrapped, and vents are masked. Then we apply two full coats of premium low-VOC paint — washable eggshell on walls, durable enamel on trim and doors — with cut lines sharp enough to photograph.
Exterior painting built for real weather
Prairie freeze-thaw cycles, UV, and hail are hard on siding and trim. Our exterior process starts with power washing and scraping every failing edge, priming bare wood, and repairing caulking — then spraying and back-rolling premium exterior-grade coatings rated for extreme temperature swings. The result protects your biggest investment for years, and it comes with a multi-year workmanship warranty in writing.
Whole-home repaints, minimal disruption
Repainting an entire home is our specialty: rooms are sequenced so your household keeps functioning, furniture is moved and protected by our crew, and most whole-home interiors are finished within three to five days. It is the fastest way to make every room feel new at once.
